The holidays are just around the corner with Thanksgiving coming up this week! My favorite part of the holiday season is getting to spend lots of time with my family and friends. Many events, parties, and gatherings come with the holidays. Because of this, sometimes a wardrobe update is well needed this time of year. This post contains affiliate links, as I am part of the Stitch Fix Influencer Program.
My Favorite Way to “Shop”
I have always been a shop ’til you drop kind of girl, but about two years ago, I discovered a whole new world of clothing and accessories. Although I do love going to the store to shop so I can see everything displayed, sometimes life gets busy! Stitch Fix is an online styling service that delivers a truly personalized shopping experience. It has become my absolute favorite for trying new trends and finding great new pieces!
How it Works
Basically, you start out by filling out a style profile. You can even link a Pinterest board to this. A personal stylist will use that information to hand-pick five pieces to match your taste, needs, and budget. You get to choose the date that you want your “fix” on, and then it will get mailed right to your door! So simple.
Your fix is the box of five pieces that you receive. This can contain a variety of clothing and accessories. One of the best parts is that you get to try it on at home. This is nice because you can see if certain pieces work with something you already own! Keep what you love, and send the rest back in a prepaid USPS envelope. There isn’t a required subscription and shipping and returns are free. I am always surprised at how well my stylist picks items out that work great in my wardrobe and are fun to try!
What does it cost?
There is a $20 styling fee, but if you end up keeping at least one item, this fee is credited towards your purchase. Each piece can range anywhere from about $20 to over $100. The beauty of Stitch Fix is that in your style profile, you will fill out what your budget is for specific items. Because of this, my fix always includes items that are affordable for me to add to my wardrobe!
All in all, I have gotten so many cute pieces from Stitch Fix over the past couple years, and now I can’t live without it! Refreshing your wardrobe for the holidays is a great excuse to try it out. The best part is that now until the end of January, Stitch Fix is waiving the styling fee. Click here to get started because now is your chance to go try it for FREE. If you have a friend that you think would love Stitch Fix, a gift card could be the perfect gift this holiday season as well!
