I just received my Stitch Fix box with some new fall trends and styles! I’m so excited after going through it and trying everything on. I am part of the Stitch Fix influencer program and may receive compensation if affiliate links are used.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it’s a subscription box service for clothing and accessories. Basically, you fill out a style profile so they know your sizes, style, and what you like. You can even attach a Pinterest board to your profile! Next, choose how often you want to receive a box, or just choose on demand, like me. I like this option because I’m not committed to a schedule, but I can order one whenever I want something new. When you order a fix, your stylist will pick out 5 items based off of your style profile, Pinterest board, and if you left them a note. Once you receive the box, you can try everything on, keep what you like, and just send the rest back! You only pay for what you keep. Stitch Fix does charge a $20 styling fee, but as long as you end up purchasing at least one item, you get that money back.
The first item I received was this Pink Clover knit long sleeve top. The body is heather grey with floral sleeves. This shirt is beyond comfy–the material is super soft. I like this top because once it gets cooler out, I can always use more long sleeve tops to layer. This Pink Clover top will be great for casual days (when I have class at 8am) because I could just throw it on with some leggings and Converse. If I want to look a little more put together, this top also looks great with jeans and booties. I may try wearing it with a long necklace as well!
My next item was the 41Hawthorn cargo vest. This is perfect because my stylist recommended that I wear it with the Pink Clover knit top…and it looks so cute! Last year, I got a cargo jacket from Stitch Fix that I absolutely love, so when I saw this in my fix, I was really excited. Cargo vests are so in for this fall, I keep seeing them all over. This is going to be a great piece to layer over sweaters or long sleeve tops. It has a hood, but here I have the hood zipped up in its little pocket.
I also received Pistola black frayed hem straight leg jeans. I’ve noticed frayed jeans are trending this season, and thought they would be fun to try. However, after trying these on, I decided that they are a little too out there for me and not exactly my style. Perhaps cute on someone else, but not me. I would love to give the frayed jean trend a try, but now I’m thinking blue jeans with just a bit of fraying would be better!
This next top I absolutely love! It’s the Dee Elly cold shoulder blouse. The burgundy color is so sophisticated and perfect for fall. This top isn’t velvet, but it kind of mimics the look of that, which I like because I know a lot of girls have been wearing velvet dresses and tops this year. By now, I’m sure many of you own a cold shoulder top since they are all over the place. I especially like this one though because I think it’s super unique with the thin criss cross straps. I can’t wait to wear this top for going out!
The last item was the 41Hawthorn shirt dress. This dress is adorable. The print is fun, and being in black and white makes it classic. It’s a nice flowy material and the tie at the waist gives the dress some shape. I think it’s very flattering because of this. The v-neck with buttons going all the way up to the top, is a cute detail. This dress is going to be a great addition to my closet because I can wear it with sandals now, and black tights and booties later! In the picture, I’m actually wearing it with my TOMS wedge booties that I received from Stitch Fix last fall. These are nice to dress it up a bit.
All in all, this fix was great with fun fall trends! It amazes me every time how Stitch Fix is able to pick pieces that I just love. Follow me on Instagram to see how I end up styling these pieces come fall. Also, if you’re interested in getting a fix, sign up here!
